The Köwericher have been the proud hosts of the “Köwericher Weinfrühling” wine festival since 2016. Months before the festival, the people of Köwerich meet to prepare a lavish festival: the festival committee, the winemakers, the wine sovereigns, representatives from the local associations and many voluntary citizens put their heads together, plan, organize and do not shy away from any hurdle for a three-day festival to put together an appealing supporting program of wine, dance and music. The highlight of the festival is Saturday evening: The culmination of the wine sovereignty is accompanied by a commented wine tasting, which, thanks to the excellent relationships between the Köwerich young winemakers and winemakers from other growing areas, is a cultural and taste experience that you shouldn't miss.
